Major General Roger Anthony Powell AM is a retired senior officer of the Australian Army. His last post was to serve as Deputy Force Commander of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in East Timor.[1][2]
Prior to that position he served Commander of Training Command - Army, and as Director General of Land Development for the Australian Defense Headquarters. In addition, Powell served as Commander of the 6th Brigade from 1993–1996.[3]
